Did I mention light skins are out to get me??  Before we went out posing for this pictures I had some sort of an exchange with Jesse and Khimani...this  guys insist I am dark... as an artist I know color well enough to insist I am more caramel than berry dark. Looks like the photographer won coz he made sure I was as dark as I possibly could be in this pictures and Jessie being light isn't helping my situation #sigh

Bummer, this post is not about Love. ☻☻ I thought I would share with you guys what Ezil and 5 out of every 6 ladies Hate and love about guys fashion. NB I said Ladies.

Pardon, did you say you don’t care about fashion? Sorry, dude, you’re almost grown up. In the professional world (and the dating world) people care about things like this!

Guys welcome to a style article all about you and brace yourselves.
There are some clothes that just don’t work. We don't care how comfortable it is, save it for bumming in the house. What you wear might just be the reason you are still dating a girl and not a lady.

guys dos and donts, outfits for guys, what to wear to a date, style with ezil, african fashion blogger, kenyan fashion blogger, scarf and dress, men dressing, what women want you to wear, what men shouldn't wear

WE HATE:

1. Baggy, low pants
I am not saying you should have to tuck your stuff  in-between you legs to fit into your pants. We understand your balls need to breathe, but why wear a parachute ?? Super baggy pants are not flattering at all, and we would rather not have to see your boxer-clad when you are walking by.

2. Deep V-neck T-shirts
A classy V-neck can be hot. Some guys look so cool in a V-neck tee, such as Milan V. yet, some guys look like total sleazeballs? its unfair, yeah?? A good chest helps to fill out the tee, and I think a well defined collarbone is a huge help. However, we prefer not to see your man cleavage, even if your pecs are pumped. If showing off chest hair is your thing, just go shirtless or wear a baseball tee.

3. Short-sleeve, button-down shirts
I though you would be tired of this things after high school. If you are not on a tropical vacation don't do it, even Scott Caan in Hawaii five-o knows better. If it’s hot, wear a T-shirt. However, If you like the dress-shirt route, wear a normal one and roll up the sleeves. (Ladies particularly love this look: There are very few things hotter than guys with sexy (mom and dad read ..Nice) forearms.)

4. Flip-flops
Do we even have to talk about this? If your feet really want some sun, wear sandals but remember socks and sandals are never acceptable.

5. Sweats/hoodies
This one is hard on me too....this things are sooooo so comfortable particularly paired down with socks and crocks damn it! so I'll be lenient and say there are acceptable times to wear sweatpants and hoodies. But try not to make them the only thing you wear in public. DO NOT wear this to the office or a date. NO, NOT TO A DATE ( I'll walk way, trust me!)  Instead Invest in a real jacket that says something about your style.

WE LOVE

1. Color
Neutrals (Black, brown, grey and white) look good on basically everyone. But I tell you a guy who knows how to wear color well can really turn some heads. Men shouldn't be afraid of color but should embrace it. They should experiment even if it's just with shirt colors or accessories or shoes #wink
you can read  Rules For wearing color.

2. Sweaters or cardigans
A warm sweater serves as a nice alternative to a baggy hoodie in the cold season. Now that it’s getting warmer, cardigans are definitely in, and if you can pull it off it’s a major turn-on. Use some of your “hot nerd” or indie appeal by pairing a cardigan with a button-down shirt and fitting jeans.

3. Flannel
We don’t know why, but most girls agree that flannels makes almost any guy ruggedly handsome. Flannel is warm, comes in a variety of cool colors and adds instant style to an outfit. It’s also pretty hard to screw up, so that’s a plus.

4. Plain White T-Shirt
A rugged, but tailored, pair of jeans with a plain, crisp white tee will have ladies weak at the knees. I don’t know if it is the simplicity or the fact that when white is done right it exudes wealth and classiness. Who knows really?

5. Your Shoes
Why it matters: If eyes are the window to the soul, then shoes are the window to your style (see what i did there??). Watch any Sex and the City episode, and you’ll immediately notice the importance women put on a nice pair of shoes. Depending on your profession, dress shoes might not be part of your daily routine. However, that’s no excuse for not owning a few pairs of well-made, stylish dress shoes. Wear them with your best suit, or as a way to dress up slacks and a sport coat. If your shoes look flimsy, she’ll suspect you’re a cheapskate. If they’re ratty and worn-down, she’ll think you don’t care about your appearance (and will wonder what else you don’t care about).

THE OBVIOUS
1. Smell good
This might be less fashion and more something else, but it still bears mentioning. Girls notice if you smell good. And we remember it. You don’t need to create a cologne cloud like Tom Haverford of “Parks and Recreation.” Just a bit of musky scent is enough to make a good impression.

2. Fit
Shopping the most fashionable styles will do nothing for a man if it does not fit properly. Make sure your investment goes towards something that fits you perfectly-ideally custom cut and fitted specifically for your shape and size. like I said earlier Baggy, loose clothing is out and appears messy and disheveled. Shop smart for clothing that fits properly so you always look sharp.

3. Self-confidence
There is no better compliment to your style than an air of confidence  I did not say cockiness. Women can sense it from a mile away: A confident man who exudes certainty and poise in any situation. This transcends physical clothing and hits on posture, a firm handshake, tight hug and a self-assured smile. And although you can’t buy confidence, you can invest in chic, well-fitted clothing that bumps up your self-esteem a notch or two.

5. Have your own personal style

Are you a classy guy with button-down shirts and thin ties? Are you crunchy granola with longer hair, earth-toned and tie-dye clothes? Or are you ruder with bright colors and some hip-hop swag? Whatever your taste is, find it and own it. Girls notice when you have a confident style thing going on.
