5 WAYS TO GET FLAWLESS SKIN

I was never one of those girls who had perfect baby soft skin,
If you are I'll have you know I'm so jealous of you and God bless you. My skin always had the worst breakouts and i could never get rid of the black spots and don't get me started on the monthly breakouts (as if having my periods wasn't torture enough).

So a number of you have been requesting a post on how I have been taking care of my skin and here it is. This must be one of my most requested posts ever.
Disclaimer: skin is a very personal thing so what works for me may not necessarily work for you but i guess its worth a try.

1. HARSH PRODUCTS
When your skin breaks out you want to try all manner of treatments to get it all cleared out but I find that it does more damage than good. the First time a noticed a really tremendous change on my skin was this one time I was home for two weeks and all I did was wash my face with the BIDCO bar soap every morning and night. I am not advising that you do that but just in case you would like to try the BIDCO soap is very gentle and has glycerin which I think is great for your skin. I did not moisturize probably a mistake but I tend to think it helped to just let the skin fend for itself for a while. At the moment I am using tea tree cleanser from Oriflame and my face scrub and mask are both from Forever Living and I use coconut oil as my moisturizer.
All I'm saying is avoid using too many products and be careful what products you use on your face.

2. MOISTURIZE
See the irony that is my life. Don't just apply any cream that is labeled face cream to your face, find a good face cream, gel or even oil that helps keep you skin moisturized all day. If it has sunscreen in it the better, if not please buy a good sunscreen even black people get sun burns. Like I said earlier i use coconut oil to moisturize and my sunscreen is from Forever Living.

3. MAKEUP
While I am super skilled in makeup application I always opt to go make up free, not because I don't have the time but because its healthier. Make up clogs your pores all day and despite them being said to be okay for your skin the have chemicals. refer to #2. Wearing make up on occasion is not bad but for every day use its not really a good choice. Go make up free and see the change it will do not only to your skin but also to your confidence. If you just have to wear make up make sure you are using clean tools and applicators. Besides for your make up to look flawless your skin has got to be slaying.

4. HEALTH
Now I will not pretend to be the healthiest person, in fact I tried going for a morning jog the other day and 5 minutes later I was out of breath. I plan to work on that in future, but your face is a reflection of your body for example, the area you like to apply concealer to, you know right under your eyes is a reflection of you kidney. So pay attention to what your face says about your health. eat healthy and exercise if you can. It gets blood flowing in all the right places and will clear out your skin.

If you would like a post on face mapping please lemme know.

5. HYDRATE
Water is your best friend, if you want clear healthy and glowing skin you have to hydrate, wash your face as many times as you can drink lots of water ( I always seem to forget) but it really helps to wash away the toxins and keep your skin Ph normal. Now in line with keeping your skin clean I would like to highlight this product that has really made a huge difference to my skin.

The Unit ( which uses batteries) comes with 5 applicators ( allow me to call them that) that are very easily slapped on. I use the cleansing brush to exfoliate my skin once every week, the buffing stone is very soft and can be used to remove dead skin even on your elbows. the soft sponge is great for daily skin cleansing while the latex sponge is for massaging creams into the skin. There is also the rolling massager which feels amazing and helps with blood flow around the face.

Its a very easy to use devise, very affordable too that comes with a high and low setting so you can choose whichever speed works best for you. Once you have snapped out the applicators you can wash them in running water to keep them clean for your net use.

I bough mine on Kilimall, saw them in Nakumatt and a lady was selling them on Glam life market place (on Facebook) feel free to check them out if you would like one.
